    The Okanagan Valley is a warm and relatively dry region in the southern interior of British Columbia. It is centered around the 135 km-long Lake Okanagan.

    This area is known for its pleasant lakeside beaches, fertile orchards, abundant hiking trails, and good winter skiing in the mountains above. These things have made Okanagan towns such as Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, and Osoyoos into some of BC's leading tourist hotspots.
